Aherne (Donnybrook, Douglas and late of Dundanion, Blackrock): On March 19th, 2019, peacefully at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice in the exceptional care of the staff after a long illness bravely borne with courage and dignity, SHAUN (Pfizer,Little Island and Novartis), dearly loved son of Mae (née Morgan) and the late Paddy, loving brother of Helen, Chris, Myriam, Trish and Audrey, loving and devoted partner of Collette.

Deeply mourned by his loving mam and family, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and the Murphy family.

Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. Removal at 6.00pm on (Thursday) evening to St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Friday. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. House private. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Marymount Hospital and Hospice. “May he rest in peace”
