BENNETT (Silverdale, Ballinlough): On August 10, 2016, peacefully in the presence of his family, at the Mercy University Hospital, JOHN (Tenor and ex Cork Hurler), dearly beloved husband of Pat (née Cunningham) and much loved father of Mark, Lorna,John and Amy. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sister Mary, brother Liam, daughters-in-law Terri and Mary, son-in-law Roger, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh.O’Connor Ltd. Removal at 7pm on Thursday evening to St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Mercy Hospital Foundation.
