Nation (Blackrock Road, Cork) On August 26th 2023, after a short illness at the Mercy University Hospital, James (Jim) Nation, (late of Cork Gas Company and Monkstown Golf), predeceased by his adored wife Marie (nee Ryan Dorney). Devoted father of Ursula, Tony, Noel, Thérese, Nicola and the late Paula and Martin.  Beloved brother of Clare and the late Mary, Sonny, Joan, Michael, Margaret and Ken.  Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, his dear friend Tony L. and a wide circle of friends around the world.

Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge on Monday (28th) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm.  Requiem Mass on Tuesday (29th) at 11.00am in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock which may be viewed on  HERE, funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
