AHERNE (Blackrock, Cork): On November 28, 2019, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family at the Mercy University Hospital, GERALDINE (nee Quirke), late of HSE, beloved wife of the late Dick, much loved mother of Con, dear sister of Mary (Curtin), Tony and John.

Sadly missed by her loving son, sister, brothers, brothers-in-law Martin and Neilus, sisters-in-law Nuala, Anne and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. Removal at 6.30pm on Friday evening to St Michael’s Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass at 10am on Saturday. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only please. Donations to the Oncology Ward, Mercy University Hospital.
