Whitnell (Beaumont, Cork): On September 23, 2014, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Cork University Hospital, CHRISTY (late of Dunlops), adoring husband of Marie and devoted father of Hilda, Billy, Christy, Paul and Marie, brother of Tony, Billy and the late Rose and Laurence and grandfather of the late Tom. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sons-in-law, daughters-in- law, adored grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O’Connor Ltd. Removal on Thursday at 7pm to St Michael’s Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu, to Friends of Leukaemia Patients, Cork.
