McAlister (Clover Lawn, Skehard Road, Blackrock Cork): On St Stephen’s Day, December 26, 2017, peacefully, surrounded by his wife and family and in the loving care of the staff of Mount Desert Care Village, after an illness borne with courage and dignity, BRIAN (late of ESB), dearly loved husband of Martina (nee Kinnerk). Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sisters Alice and Margie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephew, grandniece, relatives and friends.

Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O’Connor Ltd. Removal on Thursday at 5pm to St Michael’s Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday. Funeral afterwards to St Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired to Headway.
